Parent Coaching

You're doing everything you can for your neurodivergent child - and some days it still feels like nothing is working. We get it. OutGrow's therapist-led parent coaching gives you the understanding, tools, and real-world strategies to create a calmer, more connected home, whether your child has autism, ADHD, anxiety, sensory processing differences, or you're still figuring it all out.

No judgment. Just support.

You're not alone if you've ever thought:

"I've tried everything and nothing sticks."

"I don't know if this is normal or if I should be worried."

"I feel like I'm constantly reacting instead of getting ahead of it."

"I just want to feel confident as a parent again."

This program was designed for you.

If any of that sounds familiar, you're in the right place. OutGrow's parent coaching was built for exactly this - the overwhelm, the uncertainty, and the deep desire to do right by your neurodivergent kid. Our pediatric therapists specialize in autism, ADHD, anxiety, and sensory processing, and we translate clinical research and therapy strategies into simple, actionable language you can understand and implement at home.

Behavior Breakdown

1: 1 PARENT COACHING SERIES

Practical parenting solutions to create confidence in the misunderstood child.

Your child isn't giving you a hard time — they're having a hard time. Behavior Breakdown is a therapist-led, 1:1 parent coaching series designed for families navigating autism, ADHD, anxiety, sensory processing differences, and other neurodivergent profiles. Over five sessions and three months we give you the science, the strategies, and co-create a personalized roadmap built around your child and family.

Move Beyond Band-Aid Fixes.

Traditional behavior strategies often feel temporary because they treat the surface, not the source. OutGrow helps you understand the sensory and neurological forces driving your child's behavior so instead of reacting, you're responding with clarity and confidence. When you understand the why, everything changes.

What’s unique about the OutGrow Approach?

Other sensory courses are built from a single perspective: speech, OT, or behavior. OutGrow is different. Created by a COTA, SLP, and BCBA, Making Sense of Sensory: Therapist Edition combines the strengths of all three disciplines into one unified, whole-child approach. Instead of solely addressing sensory processing, communication, or behavior in isolation, OutGrow connects them. The result is a deeper understanding of why behaviors happen and practical, evidence supported strategies that actually stick across settings.

  • Analyze observable behaviors to determine which sensory system(s) are being engaged.

Root Cause Analysis

  • Explain how unmet or excessive sensory needs contribute to behaviors that interfere with learning, social interaction, and overall well-being.

  • Differentiate between sensory tools (supports designed to meet regulation needs) and toys (items used primarily for play or entertainment).

Clinical Understanding

  • Identify and describe the primary sensory systems most directly involved in shaping behavior and regulation.

Practical Application

  • Apply foundational knowledge of sensory processing to design interventions that facilitate regulation, enhance attention, and improve adaptive responses to sensory input.

 Frequently Asked Questions

  • This course was designed for pediatric therapists, SLPs, OTs, PTs, BCBAs, and others—especially those who work with neurodivergent kids. If you’re a parent or educator, stay tuned! We have resources created just for you launching in 2026.

  • Plan for about four hours total. Every video lesson is under eight minutes, so it’s easy to fit into your day. You can complete the course all at once or spread it out over time, whatever works best for you.

  • You’ll have lifetime access to the modules and any future updates we make. If you choose the coaching option, the live calls run for six months, and you’ll also get access to the call recordings during that time.

  • Absolutely. Sensory processing doesn’t go away after childhood, it’s something we all experience, every day. The strategies you’ll learn apply across ages, settings, and even for yourself (you’ll walk away knowing a lot more about your own sensory profile too!).

  • We can’t promise every session will be a breeze, but yes, once you start looking at behavior through a sensory lens, things often feel less stressful for both you and your clients. You’ll be equipped with strategies that reduce overwhelm, support regulation, and build more trusting, supported relationships. And that shift makes therapy feel more effective and more enjoyable.

  • We offer two options: one that is fully self-paced, and one that includes live monthly coaching calls with Martie and Megan. You can choose whichever option best fits your learning style and needs.

When are the live monthly calls?

Live calls are held on the 2nd Monday of every month from 11–12 Central. If you can’t make it live, no worries, a recording will be sent to you afterward. You’re also welcome to email your questions ahead of time and we’ll be sure to address them on the call.

  • Nope! Everything we teach is designed to work in the environments you’re already in, therapy rooms, classrooms, or homes. You don’t need a sensory gym or expensive tools. The strategies are practical and ready to use with what you already have.

  • When you complete the course and pass the final quiz, you’ll receive a Making Sense of Sensory Certificate of Completion.

We are an approved ACE provider, so BCBA’s are able to earn 4 CEU’s after course completion.

Many other professionals are able to earn 4 PDHs toward their requirements, but we recommend checking with your own board or regulatory body for confirmation.

  • Yes! You can pay in full, or spread your payments out over 6 months.

Start Seeing Change Today

Many existing sensory trainings focus on one lens: speech, OT or behavior. We bring them together, shifting from isolated concepts to an integrated, whole-child model. You will finally see how sensory systems, communication and behavior intersect and learn how to intervene effectively in your therapy room, across settings, and in collaboration with families and schools. We hope to see you on the inside!
